Appearance: An attractive, light peridot green. No visible sediment.

Louche: Almost fully louched at 1:1. Lots of fairies dancing in the glass from the very beginning. Greens, yellows and whites all swirling around. Gorgeous.

Aroma: Wonderfully balanced and room filling. A great balance of herbaceousness and sweetness.

Flavor: Sweet anise and spicy minty wormwood. White pepper and confectioner's sugar. Incredibly complex with a full mouthfeel.

Finish: Lingers a very long time Spicy and warming. Supremely enjoyable.

Overall: I have heard rumblings that some bottles of this suffered from a bit of shipping shock. I am happy to say that neither of my bottles seem to be any worse for wear. If you consider yourself an absinthe connoisseur, you need to stock a bottle of this. All the time.
