Lord of the Frogs

Overall:
You could enjoy this during any season, but this would be even better appreciated during a hot day. I can feel it cooling me from the inside out.

Aroma:
Golden raisin without water. Birch, wintergreen, and medicinal.
Appearance:
Deep forest emerald green. Deep milky amber green.
Louche:
Water lightens up that deep green a lot. A seafoam green line rides the waves of the cloud forming beneath, fun to watch. Clouds up thick.
Taste:
This is a cool flavor, like it actually has a cooling effect on the sides of the tongue and also an intriguing flavor. Wintergreen and birch, it's clean and refreshing with a silky mouthfeel. Medicinal herbal mid palate. Wormwood and lemon balm start to break through the wintergreen after a few sips and blend very well with the minty flavors. Milk chocolate begins to emerge halfway through the glass complimenting the minty flavors beautifully.
Finish:
The wintergreen flavor continues to cool as you breathe, super refreshing. It's a bit candy like, like a wintergreen hard candy. After a little while the wintergreen lets the anise come through and they hang around together on the sides of your tongue.
