Overall:
This absinthe is super floral and luxurious, you could wear this as a perfume. It would also pair well with a chocolate cake.
Appearance:
Before water - Bright green-yellow peridot
After water - Creamed honey, some blues opalescence depending on the light.
Aroma:
Before water - Lavender, baby powder, salty black licorice candy
After water - Soft lavender, more floral notes, baby powder, less of the salty licorice, with strong herbaceous undertones, a bit citrusy bright and balmy
Louche:
A honey gold wave floats atop a creamy honey cloud.
Taste:
Lavender and floral up front, powdered sugar with minty wormwood edges and cilantro, the lavender kind of sneaks the anise in, beautiful evolution as you sip, the lavender starts to fade as bright, fresh mountain herbs begin to open up, some lemony citrus joins in and a nice waxy bitterness envelopes your tongue. Medium body, a little rich up front, but mellows out mid palate. Luxurious.
Finish:
Fresh herbs to cling to your mouth long after you swallow. The lavender and anise make your mouth feel clean and fresh.
